Merchant Terms of Service

1. What SpreadFront is (and is not)

SpreadFront is a software platform that turns your product list into a hosted storefront. SpreadFront is not a payment processor, payment facilitator, bank, marketplace, or merchant of record, and never holds, routes, or transmits funds. Every sale is a contract between you and your buyer.

2. Payments and Stripe

Card payments, where you enable them, are processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account, which you connect via Stripe's authorization flow. By connecting, you accept and must comply with the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement. SpreadFront charges no commission on your sales and never sees card data. Stripe — not SpreadFront — performs identity verification and handles payouts to you.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for: the legality of the products you list and sell; all taxes and VAT on your sales; fulfilment, delivery, refunds, returns, and chargebacks; the accuracy of your product information; and compliance with consumer-protection and other laws that apply to you and your buyers.

4. Acceptable use and monitoring

The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. You must not list prohibited products or use the platform deceptively. SpreadFront may automatically scan and review store content, and may suspend checkout, disconnect your Stripe connection, suspend the storefront, or terminate your account for violations — with or without prior notice where the violation is serious. You can appeal any action via the contact page.

5. Indemnity and liability

You indemnify SpreadFront against claims arising from your products, listings, or sales. SpreadFront is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law, SpreadFront's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to SpreadFront in the twelve months before the claim.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts of the Republic of Serbia have exclusive jurisdiction.
